His Excellency Niyazi Evren Akyol, Ambassador Extraordinary & Plenipotentiary of Tßrkiye to the Republic of the Philippines and Third Secretary Zeki Furkan Kßçßk recently visited the De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde.

They were welcomed by Chancellor Benhur A. Ong, MBA and School of Diplomacy and Governance Dean Gary Ador Dionisio, DPA.

The ambassador toured the Angelo King International Center, where the modern Airbus A320 cabin is installed. This latest facility was built in collaboration with Turkey-based SkyArt, the leading global supplier for aviation-themed Cabin Service Trainer that meets internationally recognized standards and product safety directives.

The model was specially designed for the real-world training of the college’s growing population of tourism management students.

During the visit, the diplomats witnessed the contribution of Turkey’s cutting-edge technology in keeping Benilde at the forefront of innovative and inclusive education in the Philippines.
