This 2022, it is time to #MakeYourMove.

The 2022 Philippine elections are nearing and, once again, the Filipino people are to choose the next leaders of their country. With the youth comprising more than half of Filipino voters, it is of great importance to keep them informed about their candidates’ stances, advocacies, and plans in order for them to cast carefully-considered votes. This year, The Rundown 2022 does just that.

Already on its third edition, The Rundown: A Youth-Oriented Senate Elections Forum continues its legacy of organizing an impartial and informative elections forum for the youth, by the youth. This year’s forum is grounded on the theme “Youth at the Forefront of Change: Transforming Conversations into Collective Action.” The youth accounting for more than half of the country’s voters is but a glimpse of their impact on the Philippine electoral landscape.

This year’s forum will be held online via livestream on the Rundown’s official Facebook page on March 12, 2022, Saturday from 3:00 to 6:30 p.m. The forum will likewise be later aired on the ABS-CBN News Channel (ANC) on March 19, 2022, Saturday from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. and posted on ANC’s YouTube channel on March 21, 2022, Monday at 12pm.

The forum will give the Filipino youth a chance to interact with senatorial candidates in a series of panel discussions and open forums as they tackle the most pressing issues of our time.

In this edition, the Rundown has officially partnered with the Commission on Elections (COMELEC). In its previous installments, the forum has been endorsed by other government agencies such as the Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG) and the National Economic Development Authority (NEDA). This year’s Rundown is co-presented by Grab, Smart, Brother, realme, Hygienix, B Coffee Co., LUNA Academy, Mayani, and Blogapalooza.
