ABS-CBN’s “The Broken Marriage Vow” emerged as the Best TV Format Adaptation (Scripted) in Asia at the prestigious 2022 ContentAsia Awards.

Lead star Jodi Sta. Maria, who personally received the award with supervising producer Kylie Manalo-Balagtas at the awards night held in Bangkok, Thailand, dedicated the award to the whole team behind “The Broken Marriage Vow.”

“Nakakatuwa kasi kung iisipin mo, panalo ito ng lahat, ‘yung buong team na pinangunahan ng aming direktors na sina Connie Macatuno and Andoy Ranay,” she said in an interview with ABS-CBN News.

She also lauded her co-stars who gave their best effort to make “The Broken Marriage Vow” a success, saying “it really takes a village to produce such an amazing series.”

“It’s really about showcasing Filipino talent sa buong Asya,” Jodi added.

“The Broken Marriage Vow” captured the hearts of viewers during its run, consistently ranking as the most viewed Asian drama on Viu in the Philippines. It also became widely talked about on social media with influencers spoofing iconic scenes in the series.

The country’s adaptation of the hit “Doctor Foster” series also had a successful digital concert in April that celebrated the show’s official soundtrack.
