With the recent trending topic of the relationship between Ricci Rivero and Andrea Brillantes, the basketball player finally broke his silence about their breakup rumors.

On June 9, Rivero posted a statement on his Twitter account addressing the rumors regarding his relationship with Brillantes.

He explained that he chose to stay private regarding their breakup as they had already settled it in a peaceful manner.

“I own up to the mistake of not making my relationship status public because I felt there’s no need to add up to what we’re going through,” he stated.

Following this statement, he emphasized to netizens that they should respect their decision to end their relationship and avoid spreading rumors about having third-party relationships.

“I hope let’s stop creating your own versions and dragging other characters into these false accusations,” Rivero said.

Ending his statement, the basketball player apologized to their supporters for hearing such news and hoped to allow them to heal silently.

“For everyone’s peace of mind, please allow ourselves to heal and move on peacefully without hate and pain,” he said.

Rivero and Brillantes made their relationship official last year when the basketball player asked the actress to be his girlfriend after his finals game.
