A special exhibit in Quezon City features more than 50 images of the Blessed Virgin Mary, in time for the celebration of the feast of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary on Thursday, Sept. 8.

In a statement on Wednesday, Ali Mall property manager Aileen Ibay said the 10-day exhibit titled “Salamat Maria: Pagpupugay sa Kaarawan ng Mahal na Ina”, was opened last Sept. 1. It will run until Saturday.

The different images of the Blessed Virgin Mary are available for public viewing during mall hours on the lower ground floor, Activity Area of Ali Mall inside Araneta City.

Among the notable images at the exhibit include the Nuestra Señora De Las Flores from Pola, Oriental Mindoro, the replica of Imaculada Concepcion de Malabon, and the Our Lady of the Abandoned Manila.

“Together with our partner Marian devotees, we open this exhibit to show the love of our community to Mama Mary in time for the celebration of her birthday. It is our aim to strengthen the fervor faith of mallgoers and ignite devotion to the Blessed Virgin Mary,” Ibay said.

The blessing and opening of the Marian exhibit was led by Rev. Fr. Diogo D’ Souza of the Our Lady of Perpetual Help Parish in Quezon City.

Apart from the Marian exhibit, Eucharistic celebrations are also scheduled at chapels in Gateway Mall, Ali Mall, and Farmers Plaza on Thursday.
