Birthday bash gone wrong? Netizens expressed their outrage after Alex Gonzaga smeared cake icing on the waiter’s face during her birthday.

Recently, Filipina actress Alex Gonzaga celebrated her 35th birthday with her friends and loved ones. The birthday celebration was able to be captured and publicly shared by one of her friends, Dani Barretto.

One of the videos on Barretto’s Instagram account caught people’s attention as Gonzaga rubbed off icing on the server’s face right after blowing her cake.

This attitude shown by the actress was called out, stating that it was an unmannered thing to do.

“What irks me about this alex gonzaga fiasco is the power imbalance between her and the server. being laughed at in front of so many rich people must’ve been hard for him, but alex probably thinks of it as a “joke” lang. To be honest, this is blatant bullying in plain sight,” a netizen stated on Twitter.

Numerous people even pointed out that the actress should re-learn good manners and right conduct to know that what she did was offensive.

Other known personalities have also shared their sentiments regarding the said matter and highlighted that the actress should at least pay respect to the waiter.

After the video trended on different social media platforms, Barretto deleted the video from her Instagram account.

Barretto was also called out by some individuals for tolerating Gonazaga’s offensive action.

“Not only Alex Gonzaga but Dani Baretto should be called out for recording and posting the offensive video. Money does not really buy class nor breeding,” a netizen from Twitter stated.

With this, Filipinos are still waiting for Gonzaga to address the issue because they have pointed out that smearing icing on a server is not an ethical thing to do, especially for a public figure.
