After a 20-year hiatus, the 90s international boy band NSYNC makes a comeback with a new album under Universal Studios Dreamworks’ upcoming movie “Trolls Band Together.”

The release of the movie’s second official trailer on September 14 featured a snippet of NSYNC’s new song entitled “Better Place.”

Justin Timberlake also shared a behind-the-scenes studio recording of “Better Place” together with NSYNC members JC Chasez, Chris Kirkpatrick, Joey Fatone, and Lance Bass.

In the studio, Justin explains why he called up the members for the unexpected opportunity: “If we do this song, it’s a love letter to our fans. I would be honored to have the group on this song,” he said.

According to Billboard Music, the song follows the upbeat song “Can’t Stop The Feeling,” which was also written by Justin Timberlake and is the official soundtrack of the 2016 “Trolls” movie.

Prior to the trailer release and behind-the-scenes studio recording, NSYNC attended the Video Music Awards (VMA) and was able to present the “Best Pop Award” during the awarding ceremony, which was won by international artist Taylor Swift.

Much to Taylor’s shock after seeing NSYNC again on the VMA stage, she also expressed her amusement at seeing one of her favorite bands while also speculating about NSYNC’s future activities.

“I’m not doing well pivoting from this to this. Like, I had your dolls (marionettes). What-like are you doing something? What’s going to happen now?” Taylor said.

The band also gave Taylor Swift friendship bracelets as she went up the stage, hugging the members one by one.

“Trolls Band Together” will premiere by mid-November nationwide, while the full song of NSYNC’s “Better Place” will be released by September 29.

The American boy group NSYNC is known for their tracks “Bye Bye Bye,” “It’s Gonna Be Me,” and “Tearin’ Up My Heart” and this recent announcement is just the start of its surprise for its fans as the ’90s boy group will also be awaiting the full album’s release, which has yet to be announced.
