Netflix has officially confirmed the second season of its hit South Korean zombie thriller series, “All Of Us Are Dead.”

On June 7, Netflix announced that it had renewed the hit K-drama series for a second season. The news was shared as part of the streaming platform’s Geeked Week, which will be filled with new release dates and announcements.

Netflix later shared a new clip on its “The Swoon” YouTube channel, announcing the upcoming second season of the series. The video confirms it’s back to Hyosan High School for the original cast members, Park Ji-hu, Yoon Chan-young, Cho Yi-hyun, and Lomon.

Later, the visual cuts to the opening sequence of the series—the infamous zombie hoard—before fading to black and revealing the number “2.” Details about the upcoming season have yet to be revealed.

Based on the Korean webtoon “Now At Our School” by Joo Dong-geun, “All Of Us Are Dead” follows a group of high school students who find themselves trapped on campus while a zombie apocalypse spreads like wildfire.

The show’s first season finale ended on a cliffhanger, with six outbreak survivors being rescued but quarantined by the government and class president Namra (Cho) now a half-zombie.

“All Of Us Are Dead” became the second most successful non-English-language series that Netflix produced after “Squid Game.”
