Indie pop-alternative band Nameless Kids plays on the culture of soft launching someone special in their new single “Sa’yo (Ang Mundo),” which will be available on streaming platforms this Friday (Apr. 21).

Nameless Kids is a five-piece band consisting of members Nhiko Sabiniano, Kyle Perry, Tati De Mesa, Kim Allen, and Imay Alconaba. The band was formed in 2019 and since then has earned numerous accolades including Best Performance of a New Group Recording Artist at the 34th Awit Awards and Nylon Manila’s Big, Bold, Brave Awards.

The upbeat love song “Sa’yo (Ang Mundo)”—the band’s first Tagalog track—talks about soft launching or the subtle way of introducing a partner without making a formal announcement. Through this single, the band pays tribute to those who have finally found the courage to express their feelings to the world.

Last year, Nameless Kids performed at the Araneta Coliseum following the feature of their songs in the official soundtrack of the hit series “He’s Into Her.” They also sang the track “Life’s A Beach” which became the theme song for the IWantTFC series “Beach Bros.” Following its success, they released the single “Hotel Runs” which marked a new chapter for the band as they stepped into a darker and bolder sound.

Watch Nameless Kids’ first live performance of their new single “Sa’yo (Ang Mundo)” at Take Over Lounge, Quezon City this Thursday, 8pm (Apr. 20) with special guests including I Belong To The Zoo, allen&elle, St. Wolf, Ysanygo, and Party Pace. Door charge will be priced at P500. For tickets, message 09455566060.
