Tarsier Records artist Maki delivers a cinematic portrayal of a brokenhearted in “Saan?” music video that features young Kapamilya actress Karina Bautista as Maki’s love interest.

The two are seen strolling along the streets of Baguio City and having a great time as a couple.

“The music video’s concept is about heartbreak and reminiscing memories that can be extremely devastating,” described Maki who was elated to work with Karina for his first-ever music video.

“Working with Karina was nothing but fun and chaos – in a good way,” he said.

Karina, meanwhile, revealed that she became close with Maki during the shoot. “He [Maki] was shy at first but when he eventually warmed up, he is the brightest and happiest person. We immediately became close which helped me in most of our scenes,” the former “PBB Otso” contestant shared.

The MV matches the nostalgia the song “Saan?” brings, capturing bittersweet moments of a lost love. The single was penned by Maki himself, produced by Nhiko Sabiniano, and mastered by Moophs.

Released just last month on digital streaming platforms, “Saan?” is now part of several Spotify playlists, including OPM Says Chillax, issa vibe, Tatak Pinoy, and more.

The track placed in the top spot of Spotify’s Pinoy Indie Mix playlist which also featured Maki as the cover artist. “Saan?” was also featured in .ORG, a regional Spotify playlist featuring up and coming hits from artists all across Asia. The alternative-pop song also made it to Spotify’s Viral 50 Philippines playlist, debuting at #46.
