Japanese alcohol brand Lemon-Dou brings Japan to the Philippines as it recently opened the ‘Discover Izekai,’ showing the culture, beauty, and flavors of the said country.

On October 21, Lemon-Dou unveiled the opening of its two-day event along with its brand sponsors that showcase Japanese foods such as gyoza, wagyu cubes, and takoyaki.

During the ‘Discover Izekai’ brand ambassadors, Ninong Ry and Erwan Heausaff were present at the event to bring fun to its audience as they did food pairings with Lemon-Dou, wherein the two ambassadors also unveiled their personal favorites and best pairings per flavor.

As far as food pairings are concerned, Ninong Ry and Erwan Heausaff also mentioned the best noche buena foods that are perfect to drink with Lemon-Dou, which housemakers can also use for their cooking.

“Itong drink na ito perfect siya sa kahit anong pagkain sa noche buena lalo na sa lechon. Kasi it is very chill to drink, and nakakatulong siya para mas bigyan pa ng flavor yung mga pagkain,” Ninong Ry said.

This was then supported by chef and content creator Erwan, who shared some recipes that individuals can try during the upcoming holiday season.

Aside from food, the two-day event ‘Discover Izekai’ also offered interactive activities such as Katakana writing and cooking demos with different known chefs.

Lemon-Dou is a Japanese chuhai beverage brand that brought its taste to the Philippines with its three flavors, namely Signature Lemon, Honey Lemon, and Devil Lemon, which are already available in the market nationwide.
