From gold to bronze medals, the Philippine squash team Kayod Pilipinas showed an exceptional performance during the 10th Singapore Island Country Club (SICC) Marigold Jumbo Doubles Tournament 2023.

Just recently, the SICC Marigold Jumbo Doubles Tournament gathered athletes from different countries, and one of them was a Filipino squash player from the Kayod Pilipinas Squad.

Applauding their performance during the competition, the Filipino team gathered one gold, one silver, and two bronze medals after its designated match.

For the junior category, Pinoy athletes Christopher Buraga and Jonathan Reyes got the gold medal, while Aysah Dalida and David Pelino bagged the silver medal for the mixed category.

Two bronze medals were also given to the Philippines, as Christoper Buraga and Jemyca Aribado also aced the mixed category, while Robert Garcia and David Pelino won the open category.

“Incredible achievements at the recent 10th SICC Marigold Jumbo Doubles Tournament 2023! The Kayod Pilipinas Squad truly shone with a total of 1 gold, 1 silver, and 2 bronze medals,” the Philippine Squash Academy, Inc. said.

The said competition was held from November 10 to 13 and was a remarkable event for the athletes and its organizers, as this will be the first time that the organization has launched an event after being on hiatus for three years because of the pandemic.
