ABS-CBN took home 16 awards including top honors for Kapamilya Channel as Digital Media Network of the Year and ABS-CBN News as Best TV/Digital News Platform at The Golden Laurel 2022: The Batangas Province Media Awards organized by the Lyceum of the Philippines University-Batangas.

“TV Patrol” was also named Best TV/Digital News Platform with anchor Bernadette Sembrano clinching the Female News Anchor of the Year award.

Artists Jodi Sta. Maria (Best Drama Actress for “The Broken Marriage Vow”), Joshua Garcia (Best Drama Actor for “The Broken Marriage Vow”), Angel Locsin (Most Inspiring Social Media with Social Cause Category), and Kathryn Bernardo (Most Inspiring Social Media Personality Lifestyle/Entertainment Category) were also winners at The Golden Laurel 2022.

The company’s entertainment shows bagged awards as well including “It’s Showtime” (Best Variety Show and Best Variety Show Hosts), “Magandang Buhay” (Best Celebrity Talk Show), “Maalaala Mo Kaya” (Best Drama Anthology Program), and “The Broken Marriage Vow” (Best Drama Series).

Bernadette, along with co-host Edric Calma of “Lingkod Kapamilya sa TeleRadyo,” were also hailed as Best Public Service Program Hosts with their program winning the Best Public Service Program title.

ABS-CBN’s Metro magazine was also chosen by the Batangas academic community as the Best Print/Digital Lifestyle Magazine.

Winners of The Golden Laurel 2022 were determined based on the votes of students, employees, and partner schools in the Batangas province. The awarding ceremony was held on August 4 at the Freedom Hall of the SHL Building, Lyceum of the Philippines University-Batangas, Capitol Site, Batangas City.
