Filipino comedian and model Herlene Budol reminisced about her past as she came back to her hometown for her 24th birthday shoot.
For her birthday this year, Herlene posted a glimpse of her photoshoot on her Instagram account, wearing a white gown with glam makeup while she stood in an old house.
“Ang sarap balik balikan ang buhay kung saan ka nagsimula. I am beyond grateful for those people who help me to grow and to become who I am today. Thank you, Lord, it’s my birthday,” she said.
In the said post, her supporters and other netizens expressed their warmest greetings to Herlene, saying that they will still support her if she wants to continue participating in beauty pageants, noting her previous statements regarding this matter.
Known as Hipon Girl, Herlene was born in Angono, Rizal, and started her entertainment career when she became one of the co-hosts of the Philippines variety game show, Wowowin.
Discovering other fields in her career, the actress then tried to participate in beauty pageants, and just recently, she became one of the title holders for a local pageant and is still aiming to make it on the international level.
While waiting for her final decision on whether she will continue her pageantry journey, Herlene is currently pursuing her entertainment career as she stars in a local television series.
