Gerald Anderson quickly rescued a family in Quezon City stranded by floodwaters caused by Super Typhoon Carina, which intensified the southwest monsoon.

On Wednesday, July 24, @TmaeOsanomae uploaded a video on her X account showing how Anderson assisted their family, who were trapped inside their home amid chest-deep floodwaters.

Out of courtesy, he first greeted the family, then the actor immediately offered to help carry a scared and crying little girl wearing a pink jacket to warm her because of the typhoon.

Anderson reassured the young girl, saying, “Sasama ang nanay mo, tara.”

“Ako bahala sa’yo,” he added.

Netizens praised the actor for his golden heart and called him a real-life superhero for helping those in need during the onslaught of Super Typhoon Carina.

Gerald’s noble deed is not new; he has consistently helped various families, dating back to Typhoon Ondoy in 2009.
