The Dinagat Islands provincial government has accredited 10 accommodation establishments, six community tour guides, and three water transport vehicles to strengthen tourism in the province this year.

In a statement Monday, Gov. Nilo Demerey Jr. said the accreditations, issued by the Department of Tourism in Caraga (DOT-13), ensure high standards of quality and reliability for tourism services.

“We aim to create a sustainable and vibrant tourism industry in Dinagat Islands,” Demerey said. “Visitors can expect exceptional services and memorable experiences from accredited establishments, guides, and transport services.”

He also thanked DOT-13 for supporting the initiative, which aims to build trust among tourists and promote their safety and well-being.
