Actress Andrea Brillantes disclosed that she dates with marriage in mind in Vice Ganda’s latest vlog, following her recent break-up with basketball player and ex-boyfriend Ricci Rivero.
On July 16, Vice Ganda uploaded a new vlog on YouTube featuring Andrea Brillantes, who shared her life moments, “moving on” story, and advice to fellow Gen Zs.
In the vlog, Vice asked Andrea how easy or hard it was for her to let go of the person she loves the most. “In love pa ‘ko no’n pero kasi, parang may iba na eh. So pa’no ko isisiksik [‘yung] sarili ko do’n? Sa’n na ‘ko do’n?” Andrea revealed.
“Date-to-marry po kasi akong klase ng tao. Very romantic talaga ‘ko. So kala ko siya [na] talaga pero wala, kinailangan ko talagang tanggapin na hindi eh,” she added.
Coming from a broken family, Andrea said that one of her dreams is to become a mother and teach her child to have self-value.
“Pa’no ko maa-advice sa anak ko ‘yun kung ‘di ko kayang gawin sa sarili ko? So kailangan ko munang gawin ‘to at mapakita ko na may self-value ako para magkaroon ng self-value din ‘yung anak ko at matuturo ko sa kanya ng tama,” she expressed.
Andrea’s relationship with Ricci came to an end in May 2023, one month after their first anniversary.
Meanwhile, netizens commended Andrea’s maturity in moving on and handling her breakup well on Vice’s YouTube account.
