Filipino restaurant Kooya Filipino Eatery has been nominated for this year’s FACT Dining Awards Dubai in the Best Homegrown Restaurants category.

Owned by Filipino-Ilonggo Chef JP Anglo, Kooya showcases the rich and delectable Filipino cuisine in the heart of Dubai Marina.

Among other nominees such as 3Fils and 11 Woodfire, Chef Anglo wishes to bag this year’s award with Kooya and further represent the Philippines in the global culinary scene.

Established in 2022, Kooya is Chef Anglo’s gateway in bringing “home” to Filipinos in Dubai and all food enthusiasts, and pushing Filipino food forward in a gourmet-driven landscape.

FACT Dining Awards Dubai 2024 by Fact Magazine will take place on November 7, 2024, at Palazzo Versace, Dubai.

It is the magazine’s 8th edition of the annual prestigious culinary awards.
