Leading broadcast company GMA Network earns its seventh Platinum Award as the Most Trusted TV Network at the 2023 Reader’s Digest Trusted Brand Awards – further raising the bar in consumer trust in the Philippines.

The Platinum Award is the highest honor given to shortlisted entries in the said annual event that recognizes the trusted brands in the Philippines.

“People know that GMA does what is good, correct, and ethical. This is the essence of what we call Serbisyong Totoo or Genuine Service – the business of providing information without spin, without bias, just the truth,” says GMA Network Chairman and CEO Atty. Felipe L. Gozon.

GMA’s Senior Vice President for Corporate Strategic Planning and Business Development and Concurrent Chief Risk Officer and Head of Program Support Ms. Regie C. Bautista was in attendance to receive the award for the Kapuso Network last April 14.

GMA Integrated News pillar and multi-awarded broadcast journalist Mike Enriquez was also conferred his 9th award as the “Most Trusted Radio Presenter” while award-winning broadcast journalist Atom Araullo won “Most Trusted TV News Presenter.”

Enriquez was again recognized for his dedication and contribution to news reporting, which is much appreciated by his listeners and viewers across GMA Network. He anchors “Super Balita sa Umaga Nationwide” and “Saksi sa Dobol B” on the Network’s flagship AM station Super Radyo DZBB 594.

On television, Enriquez co-anchors GMA’s flagship newscast “24 Oras” with Mel Tiancgo and Vicky Morales. He is also the host of the long-running public affairs program “Imbestigador.”

Araullo, on the other hand, has been cited for earning the public’s trust as co-anchor of GMA Integrated News’ flagship newscast on GTV “State of the Nation” alongside Maki Pulido.

Atom also banners the bi-monthly public affairs program “The Atom Araullo Specials” and is one of the hosts of the long-running documentary show “I-Witness.”

Through its Trusted Brand Survey, Reader’s Digest recognizes the brands and services, as well as the personalities, that consumers trust the most.

Voted by 8,000 everyday consumers across the markets of the Philippines through Reader’s Digest’s Trusted Brand survey, GMA Network continues to embody the Buong Puso Para sa Pilipino spirit by providing wider television coverage across the country, producing credible news, and quality entertainment to the Kapuso viewers across the country and abroad.
