Idol journey ends for Trisha Gomez and PJ Fabia after receiving the lowest combined judges’ score and public votes last Sunday.

In the movie and teleserye themesong challenge, PJ sang “Sana’y Maghintay Ang Walang Hanggan” from the teleserye “Kay Tagal Kang Hinintay,” while Trisha did a rendition of “How Did You Know” from the movie “All My Life.” Both were not enough to capture the hearts of the Idol judges and the votes of the Uplivers.

On the other hand, the ‘Idol’ judges shared their thoughts on the remaining six hopefuls. For Moira dela Torre, she said that Kice might be “the next big thing,” while she commented that Ryssi Avila is “an icon in the making.” Regine Velasquez-Alcasid shared that Khimo could sing any genre.

Gary Valenciano recognized how Ann Raniel used her experiences as a ‘kontesera’ to her advantage, while he was amazed by Delly Cuales’ personality when she performed on the stage. Chito Miranda, meanwhile, commented that Bryan Chong belongs to the stage.

In the coming weekend, the competition will get more intense as the top 6 Idol Hopefuls, Ann Raniel, Bryan Chong, Delly Caules, Khimo Gumatay, Kice, and Ryssi Avila, will fight for their journeys to live on and be part of the Top 5.
