Even though bloggers are using different virtual platforms, researchers have observed that they tend to disregard the essence of studying online media.

This has alarmed some bloggers because they view tools in online media as a powerful asset to find the appropriate audience for their content and find individuals who are inclined to their ideas.

They have stated that online platforms are something vast and do not have limitations that may push down a blogger’s content if he or she does not know how to operate them properly.

COMS360’s training program, called “The Reach Project: Helping Online Media Amplify Their Voice Online,” tackled different tools and numerous methods for bloggers to have an appropriate medium to deliver their message.

The training program was attended by COMS360’s partner bloggers that participated in the competition for “The Wildfyre.” In the said curriculum, participants were given a chance to have in-depth knowledge when it comes to handling social media, the use of search engine operations, and other related materials that can be related to online media.

The first part of the training program was about social media campaigns, wherein bloggers learned about publicity materials. These include press releases that are commonly used as a means to let the targeted audience on the online platform see their content.

This training program aims to further educate people in the online media platform about the matters of online publishing. Through the training program, bloggers will be able to correctly use their media platform and will have connections to their desired audience. Moreover, this was seen as creating a stronger bond between the company and bloggers.

For those who wanted to be one of the Wildfyre bloggers, aspiring individuals can apply on the Wildfyre website (https://thewildfyrefund.com/). Through this, bloggers will be screened based on their skills and experiences and winners would have a chance to be trained under the supervision of COMS360.
