Stell is best known as the main vocalist and lead dancer of the internationally acclaimed P-pop group SB19. He finally started his journey as a solo artist when he released his single last July. Now, he is ready to take on the world with his first solo EP, ‘Room’.
Having worked closely with Warner Music PH to produce and complete the ‘Room’ EP, it will be released on August 2, 2024. With five songs, the EP is the starting point of Stell’s journey to discovering his identity and artistry.
Created in his safe space and influenced by positive inspirations, this project marks the beginning of his journey, presenting his authentic self and remarkable talent. The EP’s focus track, Di Ko Masabi, a song that will surely resonate with many as it talks about unsaid feelings of longing and uncertainty, quietly felt but never spoken. The track, a testimony that sometimes friendship weighs more than being true to what you feel, was written by none other than Mr. Ryan Cayabyab, who was impressed by Stell’s talent and range.
Classic, a track that people won’t be able to resist dancing to, is a songwriting collaboration with Stupid in Love singer and Warner Records Artist, Max, who visited Manila last April. Anino, a track written by fellow SB19 member Pablo, showcases a more vulnerable and emotional Stell. Everyone has heard and danced to Room, but listeners will be treated to a slower, sexier version of the song, the Room–Stripped Version.
The Room EP is a project very close to Stell’s heart as he believes it displays his range and talent as an artist with the variety of genres of the EP’s songs.
Right after the release of his EP, Stell will then kick off a nationwide tour on August 3, 2024, at Ayala Malls Abreeza in Davao as the first stop. Other tour stops will be August 10 at Ayala Malls Central Bloc, Cebu; August 17 at Ayala Malls Centrio, CDO; and August 24 at Ayala Malls Market-Market, Taguig. You can expect to see Stell participate in future Warner Music PH events.
The Di Ko Masabi music video is slated to be released on August 17, 2024.
