In celebration of its first year of providing daily news and information to the public, DWPM Radyo 630 and Teleradyo Serbisyo kicked off the festivities by engaging its avid listeners and communities alike in its pre-anniversary event “Puntahan ng Bayan: Kumustahan Day,” featuring informative discussions and fun activities alongside Ka-Serbisyo anchors.

The Kumustahan Day took place in San Juan City, where Radyo 630 anchors, including “Kabayan” Noli de Castro, Bernadette Sembrano, Alvin Elchico, Doris Bigornia, Tony Velasquez, and “Tyang” Amy Perez, among many others, met and bonded with the attendees. Event participants also managed to experience what it’s like to be a radio anchor by taking on the green screen teleprompter challenge and taking snaps with its glambot installation, plus in-program games.

Alongside these engaging activities, the event also featured timely, informative discussions on various topics from its guest resource speakers, from smart parenting and budget-friendly family nutrition to disaster risk preparedness.

Seasoned news anchors Alvin Elchico and Doris Bigornia expressed their gratitude to all its avid listeners for their continuous support as Radyo 630 and Teleradyo Serbisyo mark a new chapter for its first year.

“Nagpapasalamat kami na kahit one year na kami ay nandyan pa rin ang loyal viewers at listeners ng DWPM Radyo 630 at Teleradyo Serbisyo,” Alvin said. Doris added, “Kung hindi kayo bibitaw, lalong hindi kami bibitaw. Lagi tayong magkakasama, sa ngalan ng serbisyo sa bayan, tamang impormasyon at balita.”

Meanwhile, Media Serbisyo Production Corp. (MSPC) president Marah Capuyan reiterated Radyo 630 and Teleradyo Serbisyo’s cause of prioritizing its listeners in developing programs that provide truthful news and information, along with other public service initiatives.

“Parati na ‘pag nagiisip kami ng mga programa at event, ang iniisip namin ay kayong lahat na aming mga tagasubaybay—kung paano namin kayo mapagsisilbihan. Marami pa kaming pina-plano para sa Radyo 630 at Teleradyo Serbisyo, and we hope that you will continue to support us whether on air, on ground, or online. We will always be there to serve you,” Marah addressed.

As Radyo 630 and Teleradyo Serbisyo mark their first year on the airwaves, avid listeners and viewers alike can continue to tune in to their line-up of shows, from news and public service to lifestyle programs.
