Filipino drag queen Marina Summers is set to dazzle audiences at the Miss Universe Philippines 2024 coronation night. The announcement, made via the pageant’s official social media, has stirred excitement among fans.

Miss Universe Philippines shared the news with a caption that read, “Universe, it’s SUMMERtime,” hinting at Marina’s upcoming performance. Described as the “Icon Diva Superstar” and “International Drag Race Superstar,” Marina Summers promises to ignite the stage and captivate viewers on May 22.

Marina recently showcased her talent on the global stage as one of the final four contestants on “RuPaul’s Drag Race UK vs the World,” proudly representing the Philippines. While she didn’t secure the crown, her presence was a moment of pride for her homeland.

As of this writing, Marina is the sole guest performer announced by the organization for the coronation event. The Miss Universe Philippines 2024 pageant will see 53 candidates vying for the crown in what marks the fifth edition of this prestigious national competition.

The winner of this year’s Miss Universe Philippines title will go on to represent the country at the 73rd Miss Universe pageant, scheduled to take place in Mexico this year.
