Singer-songwriter Angela Ken shows candor in wanting to experience love in her latest single “Alas-Diyes” released under Star Music.

The Kapamilya artist shared that her friends inspired her to write the song based on late-night yearning for love that has become a trend among the young generation.

“Alas-Diyes was actually inspired by my friends and from the trend ‘Kapag 10pm na, sad hours na ulit.’ ‘dun siya nag-start,” Angela shared.

“Galing ‘yung lyrics sa mga naoobserve ko na nakikita and naririnig ko from social media as well na this generation has this saying that when the clock strikes 10pm, our thoughts just overflows, mostly to a specific person,” the “Ako Naman Muna” hitmaker explained further. “Kasi kaya naman natin nang mag-isa, pero nangungulila din tayo sa fact na gusto natin nang may pahinga.”

The song goes, “Ohh… Gusto ko lang magmahal. Tipong lahat isusugal at magtatagal. Oh, kailan ba? Kailan ba?”
