Navigating the labyrinth of modern relationships can be a perplexing journey, especially when it comes to the enigmatic realm of the so-called “situationships”.

Singer-songwriter Timmy Albert painted this kind of affair in his captivating new song called “IT’S COMPLICATED!”, as it sheds light on the intricacies and emotional rollercoaster that accompanies these undefined connections.

According to Timmy, this funky and vibrant song is a “modern love, dance, r&b, indie-pop song describing a “situationship” and a “gen-z” social media status of a complicated relationship.”

“The upbeat and the “dancy” vibe of the song carries out the good mood despite the uncertainty of no labels, not official, the struggle and hassle but you just can’t seem to get enough of it. You wouldn’t have it any other way with anybody else,” the talented artist states.

Truly, “IT’S COMPLICATED!” portrays the delicate dance between two individuals who are simultaneously more than friends but less than a committed couple. It explores the bittersweet moments of connection, the desire for clarity, and the fear of losing something special.

With this latest release, the artist has created an anthemic piece which he considers his personal favorite thus far. He produced the song along with his band Ryan Pineda (Carousel Casualties), LJ Panganiban (Brisom/Meryl), and Bob Sadural (St. Wolf).

Right now, the song is out on your favorite digital streaming platforms and is included in Spotify’s New Music Friday Philippines playlists in countries like Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia, Korea, Indonesia, Taiwan, Vietnam, and of course, Philippines.
