Graduation rites are one of the most important events students experience in their academic life. It’s a day to celebrate the culmination of all the hard work, time, and energy you’ve spent on getting that diploma. Indeed, it’s a special occasion for a lot of us, even more special when we can celebrate it with someone precious to us—like this dog!

Netizens can’t help but gush over this cute photo set of Aki, a golden retriever, wearing the iconic UP Sablay of his fur mom—medals included!

Aki’s fur mom, Iza Dolores, graduated from UP Diliman with a degree in Bachelor of Science in Chemistry.

The photo set contains the adorable retriever posing along the Academic Oval of the UP Diliman campus, in front of the Oblation statue, and the sunflowers blooming along the campus’ University Avenue.

“Aki, Golden ng Bayan, Bachelor of Science in Woof Woof, Major in Being the Goodest Boi,” written in the caption of the Facebook post.

The cute Golden ng Bayan instantly became an online star, with the post generating 36k likes, 625 comments, and 13k shares, as of writing. Netizens totally adore the dog, commenting with praise like “the golden achiever” and “Aki bestboi”.
