Star Creatives, a subsidiary of ABS-CBN Film Productions, Inc., announced the network’s new teleserye “A Family Affair,” starring Ivana Alawi, Sam Milby, and Gerald Anderson on a Twitter post last March 22.

The network named Ivana Alawi as the new series’ leading lady, marking this as her first lead role. Following her signing with ABS-CBN, Iwana was slated to lead a different drama in 2020, but this was eventually pushed back due to the pandemic.

The lineup was announced during the Star Magic Trade Event for Advertisers on March 22. The event was held in a hybrid setup, with Alawi in presence while Anderson and Milby both participated virtually.

The network has yet to release details regarding the new teleserye, but Alawi, Milby, and Anderson simultaneously shared locked-in taping activities on their own social media accounts without revealing any context.
